Catch the Reading Bug at your Kansas City Public Library this summer when you participate in the Summer Reading Program! Sign up here or at any library location.

For every 3 hours you read, visit your library to get a reward plus enter your name in the drawings for additional prizes. At 12 hours of reading, you’ve officially completed the program. You choose a reward plus a book to keep! After you finish the program, keep reading for fun and you can keep entering your name in the drawings.

To get started you need a library card and an email address. Then click here or come in to any location of the Kansas City Public Library. Check out some great books at your library and begin your summer of reading for fun!
